Diya Diamond Jewellery adds glitz to the fashion extravaganza

It was an evening of fashion, fervor and glamour as Diya Diamond Jewellery, India’s leading jewellery brand, dazzled the audiences at WLC’s 10th Annual Graduation Fashion Show- 'Diya Diamond Jewellery presents WLC Chimera 2011'. The show put in display the beautiful ensembles of the graduating students at WLC, donned by the who’s who of the Bollywood and Fashion Industry.
The students were felicitated with various awards for their academic achievements. The Diya Diamond’s Trophy for Best Craftsmanship of the Year 2011 was presented by Niyat Parekh, CEO, Diya Diamonds Jewellery. Top models like Nehtra Raghuraman, Shamita Singha, Sucheta, Dipti Gujral, Binal and Kabir walked the ramp in unique creations by WLC students. The evening was well attended by distinguished luminaries from the fashion fraternity and the gillterati of the city. Stars from the film industry also made appearances to support the budding new talent of tomorrow. Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan, ace designer Manish Malhotra, Aryan Vaid, Zeenat Aman, Mahie Gill, Deepshikha Nagpal, Vikram Bhatt and many more attended the event.
The finale show put up by Diya Diamonds saw Bollywood actress Vedita Singh of Bhendi Bazaar Inc. fame as the show stopper. She vowed the audiences as she sashayed down the ramp showcasing jewellery by Diya Diamonds and sizzling in a beautiful garment made by WLC.
This annual celebration of WLC College, India celebrates the creativity of the students and applauds their entry into the professional world as young fashion designers, stylists, fashion merchandisers, illustrators, in fact, in all areas and nuances of Fashion! Fifteen budding designers presented beautifully crafted collections at the event. Providing an apt platform for the student to display their creations to the industry.
